PM congratulates Yogesh Kathuniya for winning silver in Men's Discus Throw at Asian Para Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today congratulated Yogesh Kathuniya for winning a silver medal in the Men's Discus Throw-F54/55/56 at the Asian Para Games.

He said Kathuniya's commitment and outstanding performance have filled our nation with pride.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Many congratulations to Yogesh Kathuniya for his outstanding Silver Medal win in Men's Discus Throw-F54/55/56. His commitment and outstanding performance have filled our nation with pride."

PM Modi pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
