PM congratulates Krishna Nagar for winning silver in men's singles SH 6 event at Asian Para Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated Krishna Nagar for winning a silver medal in the men's singles SH 6 event at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games today.

He also praised Nagar's resilience.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Congratulations to Krishna Nagar on his stellar performance, winning the Silver Medal in Men's Singles SH 6 at the Asian Para Games.

His talent and resilience have shone through brilliantly!"

PM Modi pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
