PM congratulates Deepthi Jeevanji for clinching gold in Women’s 400m-T20 event at Asian Para Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today congratulated quater-miler Deepthi Jeevanji for winning the gold medal in the Women's 400m-T20 event at the Asian Para Games.

Calling her performance electrifying, he said Jeevanji's spirit on the track was unmatched.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"An electrifying performance by Deepthi Jeevanji! Congratulations to Deepthi on winning the Gold Medal in the Women's 400m-T20 event at the Asian Para Games. Her spirit on the track was unmatched, leaving spectators in awe. Kudos to Deepthi for making us all proud."

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today hailed Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab Ji as a towering personality who devoted his life to making India free and ensuring a life of dignity and equality for every Indian. Paying homage on his 125th birth anniversary, Shri Modi reiterated the Government’s commitment to fulfilling Dr. Mahtab’s ideals.

Responding to a post on X by the President of India, he wrote:

“Dr. Harekrushna Mahatab Ji was a towering personality who devoted his life to making India free and ensuring a life of dignity and equality for every Indian. His contribution towards Odisha's development is particularly noteworthy. He was also a prolific thinker and intellectual.
