PM congratulates Darpan Inani, Soundrya Pradhan, Ashwin for winning gold in chess at Asian Para Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, congratulated Darpan Inani, Soundrya Pradhan and Ashwin for winning a gold medal in the men's chess at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games today.

He said he is proud of their skill and dedication and wished them luck for future.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Congrats to Darpan Inani, Soundrya Pradhan and Ashwin for clinching the Gold Medal in Men's Chess B1 Category (Team).

Proud of their skill and dedication. All the best for the endeavours ahead."

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam emphasising the importance of hard work

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“यस्य कृत्यं न विघ्नन्ति शीतमुष्णं भयं रतिः।

समृद्धिरसमृद्धिर्वा स वै पण्डित उच्यते।।"

The Subhashitam conveys that only the one whose work is not hampered by cold or heat, fear or affection, wealth or poverty is called a knowledgeable person.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
