PM celebrates Gold medal in Tennis Mixed Doubles event at Asian Games

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated the Mixed Doubles pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale on winning Gold medal in Tennis Mixed Doubles event at Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“What a great game by Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale. They bring back a prestigious Gold for India in Tennis Mixed Doubles. They have demonstrated remarkable team spirit and coordination. Best wishes for their future endeavours.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. Shri Modi also wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;

“Distressed by the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery. The authorities are assisting all those who have been affected by this stampede.”
