PM celebrates Bronze medal by Swapnil Kusale in Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions at Paris Olympics 2024

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated Swapnil Kusale on winning the Bronze medal in Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions at the Paris Olympics 2024.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“Exceptional performance by Swapnil Kusale! Congrats to him for winning the Bronze medal in the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions at the
Paris Olympics 2024.

His performance is special because he’s shown great resilience and skills. He is also the first Indian athlete to win a medal in this category.

Every Indian is filled with happiness.“

PM Modi pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
