Addressing a massive rally in Jammu, PM Modi began his speech by paying tribute to Shaheed Sardar Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary, honoring him as a source of inspiration for millions of Indian youth. In his final rally for the J&K assembly elections, PM Modi reflected on his visits across Jammu and Kashmir over the past weeks, noting the tremendous enthusiasm for the BJP everywhere he went.

He remarked, “The people of Jammu and Kashmir are tired of the three-family rule of Congress, NC, and PDP. They no longer want a regime of corruption and job discrimination; instead, they desire peace, prosperity, and a better future for their children. For this reason, they are placing their trust in a BJP government.”

PM Modi highlighted the heavy voting in favor of the BJP during the first two phases of the Jammu and Kashmir elections, stating that the mood of the people is clear. He emphasized that a full majority BJP government is now certain, marking a historic moment for the Jammu region. He urged the people not to miss this opportunity, assuring them that the BJP government will address every grievance and end decades of discrimination against Jammu. He guaranteed that this Vijaya Dashami will be a moment of new beginnings for everyone, establishing that across Jammu, Samba, and Kathua, only one slogan is echoing— "Jammu ki yahi pukar… aa rahi hai BJP Sarkar!"

PM Modi reminded the people of Jammu about the days when border areas were constantly under fire. He recalled how news of ceasefire violations was a daily occurrence, with Congress responding by showing white flags. However, the BJP government responded to bullets with shells, bringing the adversaries to their senses. The PM also marked the anniversary of the 2016 surgical strikes, stating that India had shown the world what the "New India" is capable of, “yeh ghar main ghus kar marta hain!” He openly challenged that terror leaders now know that if they dare to act, “Modi will hunt them down, even from the depths of the earth.”

PM Modi heavily criticized the Congress party for demanding proof of the surgical strikes and for echoing Pakistan's language regarding the operations. He questioned whether the public could ever forgive a party that disrespects those who sacrifice for the nation. He pointed out that Congress neglected soldiers' families for decades, delaying the implementation of One Rank One Pension (OROP) while falsely claiming it would burden the treasury. In contrast, after the BJP came to power in 2014, OROP was implemented, benefiting military families significantly. He also mentioned that “recently, OROP has been revised to provide even greater financial support to these families.”

PM Modi condemned the Congress, National Conference, and PDP as enemies of the Constitution, accusing them of stifling its spirit. He highlighted how many families in Jammu had been denied the right to vote for generations due to these parties' actions. “The BJP,” he stated, “has restored this right to these citizens, including those from West Pakistan, PoK, Gorkha communities, and Valmiki families, who have significantly contributed to the nation.”

The PM further asserted, “The BJP is committed to addressing the historic discrimination faced by Jammu. Over the past decade, the region has gained major institutions such as IIT, IIM, and AIIMS. New roads are being constructed in the Kandi region of Kathua and Samba districts, and the Chattergala Tunnel will enhance connectivity between Kathua and Doda. Unlike Congress, which viewed border villages as the last, the BJP has prioritized them as the first. Through the Vibrant Village Program, the development of border-adjacent villages is now underway.”

PM Modi confided in the public and asked them to take a leap of faith, stating that “the BJP aims to empower mothers, sisters, and daughters economically, increasing their contribution to family income. To achieve this, we are supporting women's SHGs and transforming Jammu and Kashmir's women into "Lakhpati Didis." Additionally, we have launched a significant initiative to train women as drone pilots for agriculture, providing them with training and government-provided drones.”

He shared a heartfelt experience with the crowd, mentioning, “A local elder shared on social media that his golden card enabled him to undergo three surgeries, and his son received free treatment. He expressed gratitude for the card, which has saved his life.” He added, “I'm pleased to announce that the Jammu and Kashmir BJP has promised to increase free treatment coverage to ₹7 lakh.”

In his concluding remarks, the PM positively observed that he will leave no stone unturned to fulfill every wish and need of Jammu and Kashmir. “The decision to make Jammu and Kashmir a Union Territory is temporary; only the BJP will restore its status as a full state,” he assured.
