Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed public meetings in Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi and Prayagraj. PM Modi started his address by highlighting that after a long time, elections in UP are being held where a government is seeking votes based on development works done by it, based on works done in the interest of the poor and based on an improved situation of Law & Order.

PM Modi spoke on the importance of 24th February to him. PM Modi said, “Today is a special day in my life because today PM Kisan Samman Nidhi completes three years…for the last three years, the money of this scheme is going directly into the bank accounts of the farmers.” PM Modi further spoke, “20 years ago today, 24th February was the date when I became MLA for the first time. People of Rajkot had blessed me and the journey of Seva began from there.” PM Modi also told people that PM KISAN has given more than 800 crores to the farmers of Amethi and Sultanpur.

Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi said, “The whole of Uttar Pradesh, the whole country has seen the attitude of the ‘Parivarvadis’ regarding the vaccine. These people tried to defame the vaccine made in India and called it the vaccine of the BJP.” PM Modi made people aware that his own mother who is 100 years of age has followed all protocols of getting the vaccination. PM Modi said, “I took the vaccine when my number came. My mother is a hundred years old and she also did not break the line. It was only when her number came that my mother also got the vaccine. The PM and her mother, both followed the rules.”

PM Modi further said, “Had these ‘Parivarvadis’ been in the government, they would have got the vaccine first by breaking all the lines.”

Talking further on the success of the Double Engine Sarkar in Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi said, “15 crore beneficiaries of UP are getting the double benefit of free ration in this difficult time. Our government has given free gas connections to one crore 65 lakh poor families of UP. Our government has provided pucca houses to 34 lakh poor families of UP. Under PM SWAMITVA Yojana, we are giving you a solid legal document of your house, your land.”

PM Modi came out heavily on vote bank politics and ‘Parivarvad’ politics. PM Modi said, “Today their decisions are taken according to the politics of this vote bank. If this decision is against the interest of the country, these leaders do not hesitate to take that decision. They act only to remain in power”. PM Modi added, “You just saw that Gujarat court has sentenced 38 terrorists who killed people in the bomb blasts. But fearing vote bank, these parties did not even dare to welcome the court's decision.”

PM Modi called out the fallacies of ‘Parivarvad’, PM Modi said, “When the family members commit any mistake, they do corruption, then no action is taken against them. After all, those who have been accused of corruption are also their family members. At the time of action, family relationships come in the way of justice.”

PM Modi also targeted familial politics in the country. PM Modi said, “BJP is not, and never will be, a private party of Fathers and Sons… In the last four decades, different people became the party president of the BJP but no one became the president under the influence of any family. Whereas in the last four-five decades, we have seen more or less the heads of the same family become presidents of Congress”. PM Modi further added, “Seeing Congress' vision, many people all over the country adopted this culture. Congress or Samajwadi Party, has remained hostage to one family for the past several decades.”

PM Modi finally addressed that Amethi could have been developed a lot earlier under the previous governments but was left out intentionally. Lashing out at the opposition, PM Modi remarked, “Those whom you respected, respected for years, after leaving Amethi, they went to Kerala and started cursing your intellect, started questioning your understanding.” PM Modi iterated that it was only the Double Engine Sarkar that has worked day and night to develop Amethi in a true sense.

Addressing his second rally in Prayagraj ahead of the fifth phase of elections, PM Modi said, “Prayagraj's reputation is also due to its intellectual people, its culture, literature and art love. All of you are aware of how important it is for India to be strong in the changed world order. A strong India is not possible without a strong Uttar Pradesh. The dynastic politicians who are seeking votes from you will never be able to form a strong, modern UP.”

“Those who hate the name Prayagraj, what development work will they do for this city? BJP and its allies have worked continuously for 5 years in Prayagraj. BJP's double engine government has changed the politics of the country as well as of UP,” said PM Modi during the rally.

Slamming the previous governments for cheating people of UP in the name of jobs, PM Modi reiterated, “The youths who come here from all over the state and country were deceived by these extreme Parivarvadis. For them, merit was not important, but recommendation, casteism, regionalism and bundles of notes (bribery) were everything.”

“Today, they are again cheating youth of UP in the name of employment. They only provided government jobs to 2 lakh people in 10 years. Yogi government in five years has given government jobs to 5 lakh youth,” added PM Modi.

He further alleged, “Earlier in Uttar Pradesh, the syllabus of PCS exam and UPSC syllabus was different. Students used to prepare separately for these two exams, a lot of their time was spent in it. Our government understood their problem. Today, UP PSC and UPSC syllabus are almost similar. We have ended interviews for group C and D jobs. This has also helped youth.”

Intensifying his attacks against rivals, PM Modi said, “Parivarvadi parties have started abusing the EVMs after the fourth phase of polls. For those who wait for exit polls, I would tell them not to do so. As soon as they start blaming EVMs, understand that the Parivarvadi party's game is over.” Also, Prime Minister Modi urged people to vote for BJP and its allies in large numbers.

On the occasion of National Youth Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2025 on 12th January, at around 10 AM, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. He will engage with 3,000 dynamic young leaders from across India. He will also address the gathering on the occasion.

The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue aims to break the 25 year old tradition of holding the National Youth Festival in a conventional manner. It aligns with the Prime Minister's Independence Day call to engage 1 lakh youth in politics without political affiliations and provide them a national platform to make their ideas for Viksit Bharat, a reality. In line with this, on this National Youth Day, Prime Minister will participate in multiple activities designed to inspire, motivate, and empower the nation's future leaders. Innovative young leaders will make ten powerpoint presentations representing the ten thematic areas pivotal to India’s development before the Prime Minister. These presentations reflect the innovative ideas and solutions proposed by young leaders to address some of India's most pressing challenges.

Prime Minister will also release a compilation of best essays written by participants on the ten themes. These themes encompass diverse areas such as technology, sustainability, women empowerment, manufacturing, and agriculture.

In a unique setting, Prime Minister will join the young leaders for lunch, providing them an opportunity to share their ideas, experiences, and aspirations directly to him. This personal interaction will bridge the gap between governance and youth aspirations, fostering a deeper sense of ownership and responsibility among the participants.

During the Dialogue, which is starting from 11th January, the young leaders will engage in competitions, activities, and cultural and thematic presentations. It will also include deliberations on the themes led by mentors and domain experts. It will also witness cultural performances showcasing India's artistic heritage while symbolizing its modern advancements.

The 3,000 dynamic and motivated youth have been selected to participate in the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, through the Viksit Bharat Challenge, a meticulously crafted, merit-based multi level selection process to identify and showcase the most motivated and dynamic young voices from across the nation. It included three stages with participants ranging from 15 - 29 years. The first stage, Viksit Bharat Quiz, was conducted in 12 languages for youth from all states to take part, and saw participation of around 30 lakh young minds. Qualified quiz participants progressed to the 2nd stage, essay round, where they articulated their ideas on ten pivotal themes critical to realizing the vision of a "Viksit Bharat", which saw over 2 lakh essays being submitted. In the 3rd stage, State Rounds, 25 candidates per theme advanced to participate in rigorous in-person competitions. Each state identified its top three participants from each track, forming dynamic teams for the national event in Delhi.

1,500 participants from the Viksit Bharat Challenge Track, representing the top 500 teams from State Championships; 1,000 participants from the Traditional Track, chosen through state-level youth festivals, cultural programs, and exhibitions on innovation in science and technology; and 500 Pathbreakers, invited for their groundbreaking contributions in different areas will be participating in the Dialogue.
