Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a public meeting in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. He started his address by wishing the people of UP, “May you all move towards development, there should be continuous development, the business of every trader should grow further and it is with this desire and belief that today, I have come here,” said the PM.

PM Modi confidently declared that BJP shall form the government in UP soon, he said, “The fight in UP is not about whose government will be formed or whose government will not be formed. The whole of UP knows and the whole country knows that ‘Aayegi Toh BJP Hi, Aayenge Toh Yogi Hi’.”

Targeting the opposition, PM Modi further said, “For two days, these ghastly ‘Parivarwaads’ have stopped dreaming, they have lost their sleep. These people were thinking that by spreading casteism, by spreading communalism, they will divide votes. But I am happy that the people of UP are voting unitedly against the mafias, rioters.”

PM Modi stressed that for UP to develop further, it is imperative that law and order should be prioritised. “The lives of the people will flourish when people and businesses feel secure in the state and thus the leadership of Yogi Ji is important,” he added.

Taking a dig at opposition, PM Modi said, “Across the world, a democratic Government is defined as Government of the people, by the people, and for the people. These ‘Pariwarwadis’ say- Rule of the family, for the family, by the family. During the earlier governments, the districts of Uttar Pradesh were identified with the big mafia here. Now at the time of Yogi Ji's government, the districts of UP are being identified by the products there.”

Speaking about the perfume industry, Prime Minister Modi alleged, “The perfume industry of Kannauj is also a witness to the bad policies of these dynastic parties. They defamed this industry though their misdeeds and corruption. They linked this industry with corruption. We are working to make Kannauj's perfume a global brand.”

Talking about the success of Double Engine Sarkar in UP, PM Modi stated, “We are also working day and night to improve the lives of poor, farmers, livestock farmers, everyone.” PM Modi also brought attention to the vaccination program for animals started by the government to safeguard domestic animals from diseases. He also spoke on BJP’s resolution for UP, “The BJP government is working continuously keeping in view the challenges of the present as well as the future. Every poor should get a pucca house, every village should have access to fast internet, every village should be connected with pucca roads,” the PM said.

“Uttar Pradesh can get the benefit of these central schemes only when there is a better coordination with the state government”, he said while speaking about the importance of Double Engine Sarkar in the state.

PM Modi finally addressed that the BJP government is committed to the welfare of each and every person in the state, especially the poor. The people should keep in mind that people in opposition aren’t concerned about the welfare of UP at all.
