Ahead of the Assembly Election in Chhattisgarh, PM Modi addressed a public rally in Bishrampur, Chhattisgarh. He said, “BJP has always prioritized the aspirations of the poor and the downtrodden”. He added that it was Atal Ji’s Government that envisioned the creation of a separate state of Chhattisgarh.
On the plight of the tribals under the Congress regime, PM Modi iterated, “Congress has systematically ignored the tribal legacy in the formation of India & Chhattisgarh neglecting and depriving them of their development”. He added that the BJP has accorded respect and dignity to the Janjatiyas and President Murmu is the testimony to the same. He said that through various Government initiatives, we have facilitated the true development of the tribal people across the various facets of development.
Speaking about divisive and secessionist tendencies, PM Modi highlighted, “Whenever Congress has formed the Government, it has always given way to the rise of naxalism and terrorism in the region”. He added that crimes and corruption galore under Congress regimes creating an atmosphere of instability.
Lamenting the Congress-led Government in Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said “The law-and-order situation in Surguja itself has deteriorated with incremental rise in human and drug trafficking in the Congress-led regime”. He added, “Congress has threatened the lives of women and children with constant land-grabbing of tribals prevalent in the state.” Politics of appeasement has prevented the celebration of any festivals as the region faces constant turmoil of lawlessness”, added PM Modi.
On the neglected development of the poor and downtrodden, PM Modi said, “Congress has just fooled the people of India and Chhattisgarh and has kept the poor, poor for nearly five decades of their rule”.
“On the contrary, we have given the guarantee that the poor and downtrodden will never be left hungry and for the same, we decided to implement the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana for the next five years to provide free food grains to the poor,” PM Modi added.
Stating the fulfilment of all guarantees, PM Modi said, “The Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya will be inaugurated soon and this is also the fulfilment of Modi’s Guarantee”. He added that today the poor of India have ‘pucca houses’ which have also been deprived by the Congress-led Chhattisgarh Government. He retorted, “Modi means fulfilment of all guarantees”.
On the state of affairs in the Congress-ruled Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said, “The premise of the Congress-led Chhattisgarh is based on lies and deceit as they are only interested in looting people and filling their coffers”. He added, “Congress in Chhattisgarh has stooped so low that they have committed a scam in the name of ‘Mahadev’”. He said that Congress doesn’t care for the youth, women and farmers of the state and is against their empowerment and development.
Speaking on the series of Congress-led scams in the state of Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said that the Congress-led Government has committed a series of scams depriving Surguja of its development. Be it in the case of agricultural produce or mineral potential of the district, the Congress Government is simply busy making its profits and commissions, he added.
In conclusion, PM Modi said “BJP is based on ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwaas and Sabka Prayaas’ and has a steadfast commitment to the development and prosperity of Chhattisgarh. He appealed to the voters to vote for development and a better future for the state of Chhattisgarh and its people.
