PM receives personal belongings of Sardar Patel, on his 139th birth anniversary

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, on the 139th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, today received some of the Sardar`s personal belongings from Ms. Sheila Ghatate, of Manjiri Trust, Delhi.

1 (3)-684 These items, including plates, cups and saucers etc used by Sardar Patel, had been willed to Ms. Ghatate by Shri Bipin Dahyabhai Patel, grandson of Sardar Patel, and his wife Lui.

1 (1)-684-CROP The Prime Minister said the items constituted a unique part of India`s heritage. He added that appropriate arrangements would be made for their storage and preservation.
