PM Modi's highly successful visit to France, Germany and Canada

In France, extensive agreements, especially in the area of defence and nuclear energy were signed between India & France. PM Narendra Modi also addressed the members of the UNESCO & described the role the organisation has played in preserving cultural heritage.

The grand inauguration of the Hannover Messe by PM Modi and Chancellor Angela Merkel drew attention of the entire world, giving a further boost to the Make in India programme. The PM also unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and visited the Berlin Hauptbahnhof to gain valuable ideas on railway infrastructure.

PM Modi's visit to Canada was marked by the strengthening of bilateral cooperation particularly with the agreement signed for the procurement of uranium. Further, PM Modi addressed an electrifying crowd at the Indian Diaspora event in Toronto. He concluded his tour by visiting the Gurudwara Khalsa Diwan and Lakshmi Narain Temple.
