Bharatiya Janata Party is not made by a leader, a PM or a CM. This is a party made by its Karyakartas: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone of new BJP headquarters in New Delhi. Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister said that the BJP was committed to take everyone together and work for everyone’s welfare. “Nation building is priority for us”, he added.

The Prime Minister said that BJP as a party has had faced many adverse situations and party workers had gone through several challenges and were even insulted but, the sacrifice of generations of Karyakartas inspired to work more. Shri Modi added, “We learnt so much from our leaders be it Kushabhau Ji, Bhandari Ji and what they taught us shouldn't be lost. It should be strengthened.”

PM Narendra Modi remarked that the BJP would do what it has to in electoral arena but would showcase to the world what a truly democratic party driven by Karyakartas was. “When we formed Governments for 1st time in the states people wondered what Jan Sangh is about. Same happened when Atal ji led a Government in Delhi”, said the PM.

Shri Modi mentioned that whether the party is in power or in the opposition, it would never compromise on its ideals. “This party is not made by a leader, a PM or a CM. This is a party made by Karyakartas and that is why we are here today”, he added.
