Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed his third rally for the day in the city of Secunderabad, Telangana.

Expressing his deep gratitude and admiration for the people of Telangana for historically standing up against all forms of oppression, PM Modi said, “The land of Telangana and its people are known for their bravery. In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the people of Telangana supported the NDA whole-heartedly, which emboldened me to take bold decisions in the long-term benefit of the country.”

Enlisting the key achievements of his government since 2014, Prime Minister Modi said, “We are going forward with a vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ and are making all efforts to ensure equitable development for all. From sanitation to space, from education to electricity and from housing to healthcare, we have taken significant decisions which will go a long way in improving the lives of all our people, the poor, farmers, youth and the middle class.”

Taking on the Congress and its allies, Prime Minister Modi said that the incumbent government in Telangana was busy filling up its coffers at the cost of neglecting the welfare of ordinary people. In this regard, he described the state of neglect and lack of progress prominently seen in Hyderabad on parameters such as connectivity, transportation, healthcare and sanitation. He attributed this to the opportunist alliance of the state government and said the upcoming General elections will decide if India wanted a strong, decisive government that can take terrorists heads on or if it wants a weak government ruled by parties like the Congress, who believe only in ‘dialogue’ even if it does not bear any fruits.”

Concluding his address to the huge crowd of supporters, PM Modi said that Telangana being a new state had huge prospects for development and thus asked his supporters to vote for the BJP in the upcoming elections as only a stable, transparent and strong BJP-led NDA government can put the interests of the people of Telangana before the interests of a family/dynasty without indulging in vote-bank politics.
