QuoteI urge all my supporters in Bihar to again elect a strong government that ensures their inclusive development rather than an adulterated alliance of corrupt, dynastic political parties: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a huge public meeting in the Paliganj constituency of Bihar today where he lashed out at the ‘Mahamilawat’ of Opposition parties for their corruption and divisive politics.

Elaborating on the significance of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in deciding the future course for the nation, PM Modi said, “The people of the country have seen my work as a Chief Minister and as the Prime Minister for nearly two decades now and they have witnessed how the nation has been transformed in the last five years. When we took over in 2014, the entire nation was reeling under corruption, inefficiency, double-digit inflation, slow growth and strong anti-incumbency against the government. We managed to turn this situation around within five years as a result of which, India is not only the fastest growing major economy in the world but there is huge pro-incumbency and confidence amongst the people about the future prospects for India. “

Taking on the Opposition alliance ‘Mahamilawat’ for indulging in corruption and promoting nepotism in politics, PM Modi said, “It is extremely crucial that the renewed pace of development happening in India since 2014 continues its journey in the years to come and that can only happen under a strong, transparent and people centric government of the BJP-led NDA coming back in power.

The people of Bihar have witnessed how widespread corruption, lawlessness, crime and nepotism become the norm when the ‘Mahamilawati’ Congress and RJD come to power. This is why, I urge all my supporters in Bihar to again elect a strong government that ensures their inclusive development rather than an adulterated alliance of corrupt, dynastic political parties like the Congress-RJD.”
