Congress party is shrinking, it has been removed from every corner from India, says the Prime Minister

Addressing a massive rally at Bangarapet, PM Modi said these elections were not about who would win or lose, but, fulfilling aspirations of people. He accused the Karnataka Congress leaders for patronising courtiers who only bowed to Congress leaders in Delhi not the aspirations of the people.

Shri Modi said that Congress culture, Communalism, Casteism, Crime, Corruption and Contractor system were the six evils which the Congress party stood for.

Taking a jibe at the former PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, PM Shri Narendra Modi remarked, “During the UPA Government, there was one Prime Minister and one remote control. In the NDA Government, our remote control and the high command are the 125 crore people of India. Whatever the high command- the people of India tell me, I will do.”

Hitting out at the Congress President, the PM said, “Yesterday someone made an important declaration- he said, "I am going to be PM!" He came like those bullies, barging his way ahead when there are others who have many years of experience. How can someone just declare himself as the PM? This is simply nothing but arrogance.”

“To remove Modi, there are big meetings being held. How will the big leaders who attend these meetings react to this sudden announcement by one 'Naamdaar' that he is going to be PM”, Shri Modi added further.

He accused the Congress to be involved in deals. Shri Modi quoted one of the posts of Congress MP and former Karnataka CM Shri Veerappa Moily blaming a PWD Minister for deal-making and that Congress will have to solve their “money problem”.

Shri Modi also took note of how the Congress misled the Dalit, SC and ST communities and did nothing for their welfare. He said that lies and rumours were being spread by the Congress as elections were nearing. He assailed the Congress for humiliating and disrespecting Dr. Babashaeb Ambedkar and babu Jagjivan Ram.

Exuding confidence in the BJP, Shri Modi said that Congress fears defeat in these elections and because of this they are spreading lies that there would be a hung assembly in Karnataka.

Continuing his tirade against the Congress party, he said, “Congress only wants to remain in power. In 1978, Indira Ji came here, took your votes but never cared for people of this region. Congress never thought about welfare of people of Chikmagalur. Sonia Ji too contested from Bellari, but what happened to promises made in Bellari.”

Accusing the Congress of being power hungry, Prime Minister remarked that throughout the day, a Congress leader thinks only about one thing - how to be the Prime Minister? Such is the arrogance of the 'Naamdaars'.

"A Congress Leader thinks that the Prime Minister's seat is reserved for just one family. He thinks that the seat is his right. Congress barely got 40 seats in the Parliament. His ego is such that he comes to Karnataka and says that he will become the prime minister in 2019," PM Modi added.

Addressing a well attended public rally in Chikamagalur, he said that Congress party, after facing defeats in every election, are busy criticizing the EVMs and the Election Commission. For them EVM, EC, CAG, CBI and ED are wrong and only Congress is right.

Referring to Congress leaders, PM Modi said that they are out on bail in a Rs. 5000 crore scam and now they question the judiciary and even call for impeachment of the Chief Justice.

Speaking about Congress seeking proves on the Centre’s every steps, Shri Modi said when our army conducts surgical strikes, instead to appreciating the valour of our Jawans, Congress shamefully calls them wrong and asks for proofs. Also, when the World Bank and other rating agencies present reports on India's easing business environment and the country's growth, then also Congress alleges that they are wrong.

Campaigning in Belagavi, the Prime Minister said that when leaders put out advertisements on their rallies, it is assumed lot of people will join. “The Congress only writes - corner meetings, this shows people do not want to connect with them. Congress is out of the mind and hearts of people. People have rejected their politics,” he added furthermore.

"Why is the agenda of the Congress only Modi, I fail to understand," wondered the PM.

Referring to Karnataka’s CM gaffe, Shri Modi highlighted that the Chief Minister was campaigning for a Congress candidate whose name is also Narendra...but he only kept saying Narendra Modi and praised Narendra Modi too, the truth seems to have come out.

Now, the Congress has resorted to such measures which insult democracy. Today, there were bundles of fake voter ID cards found, he said. "Why were these fake voter IDs needed? This must not be limited to just one place. Congress must have engaged in this scam throughout Karnataka," the PM added.

“Since 2014 I am fighting a battle against the corrupt and I assure the people of India- those who looted the poor will have to return every penny. The 21st century is about embracing technology. We have used technology in the working of the government, which has helped bring transparency,” remarked Shri Modi.

Addressing a massive rally at Bidar, PM Narendra Modi said that the affection of people for the BJP across Karnataka was a clear indication of Congress party’s defeat. Remembering Bhagwan Basaveshwara, the PM remarked, “Bidar is the land of Anubhava Mantapa of Bhagwan Basaveshwara. He spread the messages of democracy, women empowerment, women participation, fighting social evils like casteism.”

In a scathing attack on the Congress, PM Modi said that those who had only seen Pariwaarvaad, and Vanshvaad, would never understand the importance of democracy which was why they thought no one other than them had the right to become PM. This, Shri Modi said was an insult of democracy, adding that only people had the right to decide who would become the PM, not the 'Naamdaars'.

“When Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Batukeshwar Dutt, Veer Savarkar, greats like them were jailed fighting for the country's independence, did any Congress leader go to meet them? But the Congress leaders go and meet the corrupt who have been jailed. Congress is supporting those who are corrupt. Such things cannot be accepted”, the PM added further added.

Elections after elections, PM Modi remarked that people in every state across India rejected the Congress and now it is Karnataka's time to reject them.

On the matter of women’s safety, PM Modi said that the Centre had approved stringent punishments including death penalty for those who commit devilish deeds against women. Such things, he said cannot be tolerated at all and also strongly disapproved making such heinous crimes a political issue.

The Prime Minister said that the NDA Government opened bank accounts for the poor and brought them in financial mainstream through ‘Jan Dhan’ but Congress party was working for 'Bhrasht Dhan'.

Further adding he said, “Did the Congress government in Karnataka tell people what they have done in the last five years? They just keep saying - What did Modi do? They must be answerable. They should tell people what they have done for Karnataka. 'Atkana,' 'Latkana' and 'Bhatkana'...This is Congress' speciality. This is their work culture.”
