The more the karyakartas are filled with respect and pride for our Motherland, the more they are connected to the people, and the more sensitive they are towards the poor, the easier will be our victory: PM
Congress tries to spread lies among people. They spare no efforts to mislead people about the progress our country is making: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with BJP Booth Karyakartas from Chennai Central, Chennai North, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli and Tiruvallur through video conference today. Prime Minister Modi regularly holds such interactions with party workers as part of the BJP’s outreach campaign.

The interaction began at Chennai Central where a Karyakarta asked PM Modi about the ‘Mahagathbandhan’ of the Opposition parties, to which PM Modi replied, “Many political leaders today are talking about a Grand Alliance or the Mahagathbandhan. Let me tell you that this alliance is for personal survival, not ideological support. This alliance is for power, not for the people. This alliance is for personal ambitions and not for people’s aspirations.”

Prime Minister Modi further spoke at length describing several instances where Congress had insulted and deceived several key leaders from different political parties, who are now talking about an unholy alliance against his government.

Responding to another question by a Karyakarta, PM Modi asserted that elections are not won by leaders, they are won by the continuous efforts of the party Karyakartas who form the backbone of the BJP’s political organisation. He further said, “The more our Karyakartas are filled with respect and pride for our Motherland, the more they are connected with the people; the more sensitive out Karyakartas are towards the problems of the poor, the easier will be for us to emerge victorious.”

At its conclusion, the interaction also saw PM Modi talk about several other important issues such as the future growth of urban cities in India and the challenges and opportunities posed by them. In this regard, he enlisted how the current BJP government has taken rapid strides in fulfilling its vision of a New India through transformative schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Saubhagya Yojana and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
