The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today attended the 75th Birthday celebrations of former Union Minister, and former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Sharad Pawar, at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister described Shri Sharad Pawar's political career, as one born out of productive pursuits. The Prime Minister praised Shri Pawar's modern and scientific approach to agriculture, and his contribution to the agriculture sector in India.

The Prime Minister released a book "On My Terms", written by Shri Sharad Pawar.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has condoled the loss of lives due to stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. Shri Modi also wished a speedy recovery for the injured.

In a X post, the Prime Minister said;

“Distressed by the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery. The authorities are assisting all those who have been affected by this stampede.”
