Shri Modi addresses large public meetings in Rajpipla, Jambusar and Dhandhuka

Congress not only failed when they were in power in Gujarat but also have failed as an opposition due to which they will be defeated in the upcoming elections: Shri Modi

People of Gujarat will never accept the negative politics of the Congress: Shri Modi

On the morning of Sunday 2nd December 2012 Shri Narendra Modi addressed large public meetings in Rajpipla (Narmada district), Jambusar (Bharuch district) and Dhandhuka (Ahmedabad district). The public meetings were attended by record number of people, who came to listen to the inspiring words of Shri Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister said that the Congress not only failed when they were in power in power but also have failed as an Opposition due to which they will be defeated in the upcoming elections.

The Chief Minister stated that the role of an opposition is important but there should be no place for negativity in politics. Yet, for the last 12 years the Congress has done only one thing, which is to use all the abuses from the dictionary for Modi. But, the Shri Modi affirmed that the people of Gujarat would never accept the negative politics of the Congress. He also recalled the attitude of the Congress during the Swarnim Gujarat celebrations.

Referring to the Congress, Shri Modi asked how who cannot win the trust of their workers win the trust of the people of Gujarat? On the Congress story that a 12-year-old child snatched the mandate from the party candidate, Shri Modi said even a 12 year old of Gujarat is not ready to give the Congress the mandate!

From sending notices to those who invest in Vibrant Gujarat, obstructing putting of gates on Sardar Sarovar Dam to the roadblocks in allowing Gujarat to move ahead with the piped gas initiative Shri Modi comprehensively listed the anti-Gujarat mindset of the Congress and the UPA.

In his speeches Shri Modi gave various examples of how the Congress has been cheating the people, be it their unfilled 2009 promise to bring prices down in 100 days or their unfilled promise to the farmers of Maharashtra that they will be given free power if the Congress is elected. Shri Modi urged the people of Gujarat to turn Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of disbanding the Congress into a reality.

Shri Modi shared that for the last 2 days Mr. Ahmed Patel has been saying that he is not interested to become CM and asked what was the need to say this and come to Gujarat to say this? He further spoke that what it means is that the Congress and all those who have entered the field to make the Congress win want to make Mr. Ahmed Patel the CM yet the Congress does not have the courage to say it to the people. Shri Modi said that the BJP is not hiding anything from the people and is clearly saying who their leader is whereas the Congress is silent.

The Chief Minister urged the people to come and vote in large numbers on 13th December 2012. Despite the heat, people across all age groups and sections of society came to extend their solidarity with the BJP and Shri Modi.
