On 7th October 2012, Sunday Shri Narendra Modi had addressed Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra in parts Bharuch district. People from Valiya, Ankleshwar and Bharuch had assembled to attend Vivekananda Yuva Vikas Yatra. Shri Modi embarked on the Yatra greeting the audience for gathering to bless him on the occasion of entering twelfth year of his serving the people.  The Chief Minister said he had acquired the place in the hearts of people for eleven years and was now entering the twelfth consecutive year of his service.

Speaking about the development in the past decade Shri Modi affirmed that go to any part of Gujarat, within 25 km you can see some or the other development work going on. He added that people often ask ‘where is Modi getting the money from’ to which Shri Modi replied that the money that was earlier enriching the pockets of middlemen is now being utilized for the development of the people. People can witness development works everywhere be it Hospitals, roads, schools, Aanganwadis, canals, or health centers he added.

Further he said his family was 6 crore people of Gujarat and he aspired for the well-being of his family. Aiming at contentment of the poor Shri Modi asserted that removing the middlemen from the system, through 1000 Garib Kalyan Melas the underprivileged in Gujarat have been assisted with a host of benefits.

Shri Narendra Modi said that Mrs. Sonia Gandhi had visited Rajkot but neither did a she say a word to console the people for price rise nor did she apologize for the issue. He asked the people if they have heard any good news from Delhi in the past 8 years. Besides, he said that inflation has wrecked Gujarat in addition Rs. 12 (Approx.) had been raised on gas cylinders. On the contrary Gujarat has undergone a massive growth and development but not a single rupee had been raised on taxes Shri Modi announced. The Chief Minister affirmed that the last decade was spent in filling the ditches created by preceding 50 years of Congress rule and the journey towards Bhavya (Grand) and Divya (Divine) Gujarat will commence from 2013.

Senior BJP leader Gopinath Munde, State BJP President R. C Faldu, BJP National Vice President Purushottam Rupala and several dignitaries had greeted Shri Narendra Modi as he completed 11 years of his service and entered the 12th consecutive year.

First such instance that a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the Christmas Celebrations hosted by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) at the CBCI Centre premises, New Delhi at 6:30 PM on 23rd December.

Prime Minister will interact with key leaders from the Christian community, including Cardinals, Bishops and prominent lay leaders of the Church.

This is the first time a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India.

Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) was established in 1944 and is the body which works closest with all the Catholics across India.
