ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਾਸਾਹੇਬ ਠਾਕਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ’ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਅਰਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਇੱਕ ਟਵੀਟ ਵਿੱਚ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ;
“ਬਾਲਾਸਾਹੇਬ ਠਾਕਰੇ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਵਰ੍ਹੇਗੰਢ ’ਤੇ ਯਾਦ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ । ਮੈਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਜੋ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਾਂਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਜਵਾਬੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਨੀ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਲੋਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।”
