PM expresses gratitude to President, VP and other world leaders for birthday wishes

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed his gratitude to the President, Vice President and other world leaders for birthday wishes.

In a reply to President, the Prime Minister said;

"माननीय राष्ट्रपति महोदय, आपके इस अनमोल शुभकामना संदेश के लिए हृदय से आभार।"

In a reply to Vice President, the Prime Minister said;

"Thank you Vice President @MVenkaiahNaidu Garu for the thoughtful wishes."

In a reply to President of Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister said;

"Thank you President @GotabayaR for the wishes."

In a reply to Prime Minister of Nepal, the Prime Minister said;

"I would like to thank you for your kind greetings, PM @SherBDeuba."

In a reply to PM of Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister said;

"Thank you my friend, PM Rajapaksa, for the wishes."

In a reply to PM of Dominica, the Prime Minister said;

"Grateful to you for the lovely wishes, PM @SkerritR."

In a reply to former PM of Nepal, the Prime Minister said;

"Thank you, Shri @kpsharmaoli."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage today to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue in the historic Promenade Gardens in Georgetown, Guyana. He recalled Bapu’s eternal values of peace and non-violence which continue to guide humanity. The statue was installed in commemoration of Gandhiji’s 100th birth anniversary in 1969.

Prime Minister also paid floral tribute at the Arya Samaj monument located close by. This monument was unveiled in 2011 in commemoration of 100 years of the Arya Samaj movement in Guyana.
