ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਗੀਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ, ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ 2021 ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ‘ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਟਵੀਟ ਕੀਤਾ:
‘‘ਮੈਂ ਗੀਤਾ ਪ੍ਰੈੱਸ, ਗੋਰਖਪੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰ 2021 ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣ ‘ਤੇ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਮਿਆਨ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਦਿਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ 100 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾਯੋਗ ਕਾਰਜ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।
