The recently-launched manifesto of the Congress is not a ‘Ghoshna-Patra’ rather it is a ‘Dhakosala-Patra’ meant to make false promises to the people: Prime Minister Modi
It is high time that people of Bengal exercise their power and give a befitting reply to the ‘Bomb and Gun Culture’ of the TMC-Left combine: PM Modi
The people will never forget those who bowed down to terrorists and removed laws like TADA and POTA: Prime Minister Modi in Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two major rallies in West Bengal after addressing a similar rally in the neighboring Arunachal Pradesh earlier today.

Tearing on the TMC government in Bengal for hindering up on the rapid development of the state, PM Modi said, “There is a speed-breaker in Bengal named ‘Didi’ (CM Mamata Bannerjee). ‘Didi’ is the speed-breaker who is hindering rapid, inclusive development in Bengal. ‘Didi’ stands in our resolve of eliminating poverty because the poor is an important vote-bank for ‘Didi’ and she doesn’t want to let go off her vote-bank even if that means that poor people remain poor for decades.”

Describing how the BJP government at the Centre was implementing historic schemes meant to empower the poor, Prime Minister Modi claimed, “While the BJP government launched the world’s biggest healthcare scheme for the poor, however, the ‘speed-breaker didi’ did not implement this historic scheme in Bengal due to her petty politics and keeps the poor people in Bengal out of its benefits. A similar fate has been accorded to another major scheme aimed at financially securing our farmers by providing them annual financial assistance. Even that scheme has not been implemented in Bengal and is hindering the empowerment of about 70 lakh farmer families in Bengal.”

Launching a scathing attack at the Opposition parties, particularly the Congress for deceiving the people’s faith by their false promises, PM Modi said, “The recently-launched manifesto of the Congress is not a ‘Ghoshna-Patra’ rather it is a ‘Dhakosala-Patra’ meant to make false promises to the people and later make no efforts to fulfill those promises once they come to power. This is what the Congress and its ‘Maha-milawati’ allies have done in the past and will certainly do so in the future too.” He further criticized these parties for doubting the courage of Indian armed forces after the Balakot airstrikes and said that the people will never trust those parties or leaders that do not trust their own armed forces and neither will they forget those who bowed down to terrorists and removed TADA and PODA out of their fear of losing vote-banks.

Concluding his power-packed address amid overwhelming swathes of supporters at Siliguri and Kolkata, Prime Minister Modi reminded them of the significance of their votes in the upcoming General elections saying, “The country has witnessed the power of a stable, strong and transparent government that puts people’s interests first and this has been made possible by every vote cast in favour of the BJP.

Thus, it is high time that people of Bengal exercise their power and give a befitting reply to the ‘Bomb and Gun Culture’ of the TMC-Left combine.” To this end, PM Modi urged his enthusiastic supporters to vote in large numbers in support of BJP candidates and ensure Bengal’s return to democracy and stability under a BJP-led government in 2019.
