Addressing a huge Kisan Kalyan Rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur, PM Narendra Modi reiterated NDA Government’s commitment towards welfare of farmers. He highlighted various efforts being undertaken by the Centre to transform lives of people of the country.

Shri Modi said that the NDA Government at Centre and the BJP Government in the state were leaving no stone unturned towards farmers’ welfare and according highest priority to uplift them. Taking note of the troubles the sugarcane farmers had to face earlier due to the complex policies of previous governments, the PM listed out measures taken by the BJP-led government for their welfare.

He also highlighted how due to the efforts of the BJP-led NDA Government, farmers in the state were now getting support price for their crops on time as well as through fair and transparent procedure.

Taking a pot shot at the Congress party and its allies on moving a no confidence motion, which the government won, the Prime Minister said that people across length and breadth of the country had faith in us but unfortunately a few parties moved such a motion in the Parliament House.

“In the Parliament House, we repeatedly questioned the opposition why they moved such a motion, but they could not answer the nation. We told them that in a democracy only the mandate of people matter, but the nation saw their hunger for power and only aim to remove Modi. They are opposing us because we are fighting against dynastic politics, ended the VIP culture”, said PM Modi.

The PM further added, “I want to assure the people of India that Modi is just a medium, it is the power of 125 crore people of India, it is the strength of Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s Constitution, which has given us the opportunity to serve the country and due to the faith people have in us, our efforts towards the country’s growth and welfare would continue.”

The Prime Minister said that a New India was rising, which was well aware of the tactics of other parties. He said, “A young New India well is rising. They can no longer be suppressed and are well aware of the tactics of other parties.” IN this context, the Prime Minister also shed light on several measures of the BJP Government for the welfare of youth of Uttar Pradesh.

Several Union Ministers, UP Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath and other party karyakartas attended the event.
