Addressing an election meeting in kerela on Sunday, Chief Minister Narendra Modi alleged inaction of successive LDF & UDF governments has resulted into an increase in terrorist activities in Kerela.
He mentioned, ‘Terrorist activities are increasing in Kerala and every investigation on terrorism carried out in the country finally reaches the state. Such activities are growing as LDF and UDF governments have not taken any action’.
Chief Minister alleged both the fronts for not optimizing state’s potential. He accused both LDF and UDF for supporting each other in corruption. He said, ‘"When one front comes to power it shields the other from corruption. He affirmed Kerala politics badly called for a transformation from vote bank politics to development politics, something which only BJP could do.
Hon'ble CM slams Dravidian parties for fighting with each other
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday criticised the two Dravidian parties for fighting with each other rather than discussing the problems of the people and working out solutions for the same.
The fight between the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) and the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) had only resulted in the State not witnessing growth.
Addressing an election campaign meeting, Mr. Modi wanted to know whether the free colour television sets had quenched the thirsts of the people and whether it had done any good to the people.
He said that for the first time corruption has become a main debate in the elections in the State. The youth of the country were agitated over corruption.
The Central government had to give in because of the fast by 71-year old social activist Anna Hazare demanding Lokpal Bill.
Gujarat, for the overall development ensured by the BJP government in the last 15 years, is seen as an example by both people who love and hate Gujarat or the BJP for that matter, he said. It has become one of the power-surplus States because of the efforts taken by the BJP government.
Though the State has vast extents of land hit by drought, the State government there was striving hard to improve the groundwater table through intensive rain water harvesting structures.
Gujarat was providing safe drinking water to all 8,000 villages through 2,000 km length of giant pipe lines. Water is being drawn from giant wells near the Madhya Pradesh border and providing water even to the villages in Pakistan border in Kutch region, Mr. Modi said.
