On March 13, 2024, an intellectual discussion on India's economy was held in Kolkata under the banner of Viksit Bharat Ambassador. The #VBA2024 event took place at the Ashutosh Birth Centenary Hall, located in the renowned Esplanade area. Over 400 attendees, including students, professionals, and entrepreneurs, attended the gathering. The large turnout showed the youth of Kolkata's commitment to shaping India's future.
The discussion was followed by a dinner at Galleria 1910, attended by leading industrialists and entrepreneurs of the city.
Sh. Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas and Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India, was present at the event. Minister Puri addressed the VBAs and reflected on India's transformative journey towards Viksit Bharat, highlighting the strides made over the past decade and charting a roadmap for the future. He stressed that dedicated individuals were crucial in driving Viksit Bharat's progress and emphasized that it was the younger generation's responsibility to spread the development message.
