ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਤਮਿਲ ਨਾਡੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਰੱਕਨਮ-ਪੁਡੂਚੇਰੀ (46 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ) 4 - ਲੇਨ ਰਾਜਮਾਰਗ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਹਾਇਬ੍ਰਿਡ ਐਨੂਇਟੀ ਮੋਡ (ਐੱਚਏਐੱਮ /HAM) ਦੇ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਕੁੱਲ ਪੂੰਜੀਗਤ ਲਾਗਤ 2,157 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
