ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਸੁਤੰਤਰਤਾ ਸੈਨਾਨੀਆਂ, ਲੋਕਮਾਨਯ ਤਿਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦਰ ਸ਼ੇਖਰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜਯੰਤੀ 'ਤੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ 'ਮਨ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ' ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਅੰਸ਼ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਲੋਕਮਾਨਯ ਤਿਲਕ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਦਰ ਸ਼ੇਖਰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੁੰਬਈ ਦੌਰਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਤਸਵੀਰਾਂ ਵੀ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਮਾਨਯ ਸੇਵਾ ਸੰਘ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਲੋਕਮਾਨਯ ਤਿਲਕ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕੀ ਸਬੰਧ ਹੈ।
