ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਦਿਵਸ (World Lion Day) ਦੇ ਅਵਸਰ ‘ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਾਰਜ (Lion conservation & protection work) ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਫਰਵਰੀ 2024 ਵਿੱਚ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਬਿਗ ਕੈਟ ਅਲਾਇੰਸ (International Big Cat Alliance) ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਕੈਬਨਿਟ ਦੀ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪਾਇਆ, ਜੋ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਬੱਧਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਹਰਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਜਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕਿਰਿਆ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨਤਾ ਵਿਅਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ।ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਏਸ਼ਿਆਈ ਸ਼ੇਰਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਰਿਮਲ ਨਾਥਵਾਨੀ ਦੀ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਈ
