ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਨਰੇਂਦਰ ਮੋਦੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਮੰਡਪਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਟੈਲੀਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ-ਵਰਲਡ ਟੈਲੀਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸਟੈਂਡਰਡਾਈਜ਼ੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਸੈਂਬਲੀ (ਆਈਟੀਯੂ-ਡਬਲਿਊਟੀਐੱਸਏ) 2024 ਦੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ 8ਵੇਂ ਸੰਸਕਰਣ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਡਬਲਿਊਟੀਐੱਸਏ, ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਟੈਲੀਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਯੂਨੀਅਨ ਅਤੇ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਏਜੰਸੀ ਦੇ ਮਾਨਕੀਕਰਣ ਕੰਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਸੀ ਸੰਮੇਲਨ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਆਈਟੀਯੂ-ਡਬਲਿਊਟੀਐੱਸਏ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਏਸ਼ੀਆ-ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਅਹਿਮ ਆਲਮੀ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੈਲੀਕਮਿਊਨੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਚਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਟੈਕਨੋਲੋਜੀ (ਆਈਸੀਟੀ) ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਨਿਧਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ 190 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ 3,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਇੰਡਸਟਰੀ ਲੀਡਰਸ, ਪੌਲਿਸੀ –ਮੇਕਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲੈ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
