Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Shakthikendra Incharges Sammelan in Kochi, Kerala. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the love and warmth received from the people of Kerala. He acknowledged the overwhelming response, from the moment he landed at Kochi Airport to the thousands who blessed him along the way.

The Prime Minister said, “I visited the Guruvayur and Triprayar temples, and sought darshan. Inside the temple, I experienced the divine blessings of Janardana, and outside, I witnessed the unparalleled devotion of the people.”

Addressing the multitude that gathered to shower their blessings, PM Modi expressed how their love is his good fortune, a wonderful sentiment, and an unimaginable force that fuels his dedication to work for the land of India. He described this emotion as exquisite and the power as indescribable.

He said, “We witnessed the immense capability of Kerala BJP Karyakartas a few days ago at the Women Empowerment Summit in Thrissur. A significant part of my life has been spent working as a party karyakarta for the organization. Therefore, based on my experience, I can say that such a grand summit can only be organized by a strong organization. This demonstrates the tremendous hard work being put in by all of you in Kerala."

The Prime Minister underscored the Bharatiya Janata Party as a party for the entire nation, emphasizing its track record of rapid development and a clear vision for the future. He highlighted the BJP's commitment to the empowerment of the poor, women, youth, farmers, and fishermen, as crucial for the development of India.

PM Modi elaborated on various initiatives undertaken by the BJP, such as extending free ration for the poor for the next five years, offering free healthcare, providing solid homes, and distributing free gas connections. These schemes aim at making life easier for the underprivileged, and demonstrate the BJP's commitment to uplifting the lives of the poor, the PM added.

He emphasized the BJP government's priority to increase the income and savings of the common citizens of the country, highlighting its focus on the economic well-being of the people.

Speaking about the good governance by the government, PM Modi said, “The positive impact of the clear policies and decisions of the BJP government is evident in the country. A recent report reveals that in the last 9 years, 25 crore people in the country have emerged from poverty. This demonstrates that India can overcome poverty sooner or later. It shows that the direction we have chosen and the path we are on to build a developed India are the right ones.”

PM Modi noted India's recognition as a Vishwamitra, with pride in India and Indians reaching new heights worldwide. He cited the strong relations with Gulf countries, stating that India's ties with them are going through the strongest phase in history, with Indians gaining respect, more opportunities, and assurances of security.

The Prime Minister underlined the ongoing 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ in Kerala which aims to ensure that no one misses out on the benefits of the central government's development schemes. PM Modi urged the audience to bring those who have not yet benefited into the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ through Modi's guarantee vehicle. Work on connecting people from your booth to the voter list, encourage the first-time voters, and inform them about the benefits of voting, the Prime Minister added.

For the service of the nation, the Union government has established MYBHARAT, the country's largest youth organization. PM Modi encouraged youth participation, stating that over a crore young individuals have already joined the organization. Also, the Prime Minister urged all Shakthikendra representatives to consistently use the Namo app. He said, “The Namo app provides you with a plethora of information that will assist you in raising awareness among voters.”

PM Modi drew attention to the upcoming auspicious event of Pran Pratishtha in the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. He spoke about how he is adhering to principles and regulations preceding the Pran Pratishtha and his recent visits to temples and participation in cleanliness initiatives.

The Prime Minister urged all the workers in Kerala to conduct cleanliness campaigns in temples villages, cities, and booths. While the Pran Pratishtha will take place in Ayodhya on January 22, the divine light of Bhagwan Ram is expected to illuminate every home, and every temple in the country, he added.

Highlighting Kerala's dedication to the Ramayana, especially during the 'Ramayana Masam,' PM Modi emphasized that the 'Shriram Jyoti' would be lit with complete harmony, calling for the message to reach respective regions.

During his concluding remarks, PM Modi expressed great trust in every Karyakartas of Kerala, describing them as resilient individuals who have emerged successfully from challenges. He conveyed his confidence that they would win the trust of the people of Kerala, offering best wishes to all.

PM Modi visits the Indian Arrival Monument

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
