If you want to save Bihar and make it a better state, you need to vote for NDA: PM Modi in Patna

Amidst the ongoing election campaign in Bihar, PM Modi’s rally spree continued as he addressed public meetings in Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Patna today. Speaking at a huge rally, PM Modi said that people of Bihar were in favour of the BJP and the state had made a lot of progress under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. “Aatmanirbhar Bihar is the next vision in development of Bihar,” the PM remarked.

Highlighting the commitments fulfilled by his government, he said "A grand Ram Temple is being built in Ayodhya, those in politics who questioned dateline of Ayodhya Ram Mandir are now clapping in appreciation. It is the identity of BJP and NDA, we do what we promise.”

PM Modi said, “Farmers have benefitted from nearly Rs 1 lakh crore direct assistance, gas connections have liberated 90 lakh women in Bihar from smoke and pollution. Also, Bihar would soon join those states where potable water is supplied through pipelines to all homes.”

Addressing the gathering in Darbhanga, “Over Rs 1200 crore have been allocated for AIIMS, Darbhanga. Entire Mithilanchal will benefit from the airport at Darbhanga and this will help in development of the area. Ramayana circuit is also coming up which will further boost the tourism sector and generate employment opportunities.”

“The ones in government earlier worked on the motto 'Paisa Hajam, Pariyojna khatam'. Now, people of Bihar have taken a resolve to again defeat those who brought 'Jungle Raj' in the state, those who looted Bihar. These are the people under whose government crime was rampant in the state,” the Prime Minister said.

Addressing his second rally of the day in Muzaffarpur, PM Modi asserted, “If the previous self-serving regime comes back to power, it will mean an end to hopes for jobs and employment.” Training his guns at the RJD, he remarked, “You can imagine what will happen to the funds for COVID-19 if they come to power. What else can people of Bihar expect from the 'Yuvraj' of 'Jungle Raj', given their past record. You know them better than I do.”

“The party which is infamous for closing down industries of Bihar, from whom investors maintained distance, is today promising development to the state's people. Let alone govt jobs, if they come to power even private companies will flee from Bihar,” the PM added.

Shortly later, while addressing his third rally in Patna, PM Modi asked the gathering, “Who can fulfil the aspirations of the poor and middle class of Bihar? Can those who looted Bihar do it? Those who only thought of their families and did injustice to everyone can never understand Bihar's expectations. Only NDA can do it.”

The Prime Minister said, “I want to know from the people of Bihar, could Bihar dream of becoming an IT Hub in Jungle Raj? Whether Jungle Raj's Yuvraj can take Bihar forward in the field of IT or can he take Bihar ahead in the area of modernisation.”

“Today, the NDA Government insists that no area or individual be exempted from government services and government facilities. For this more and more technology is being used. Had the PM Kisan not been linked to technology, would it have been possible to have thousands of crores of rupees in the bank accounts of farmers of Bihar,” asked PM Modi

In Patna, the PM remarked, “Just like you can save yourself from COVID-19 with a mask, similarly with a single vote you can save Bihar from becoming 'Bimar'.”

He also appealed to people to come out in large numbers to vote in Bihar assembly polls. Several party leaders and karyakartas were present at the event.

PM to distribute over 50 lakh property cards to property owners under SVAMITVA Scheme
December 26, 2024
Drone survey already completed in 92% of targeted villages
Around 2.2 crore property cards prepared

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will distribute over 50 lakh property cards under SVAMITVA Scheme to property owners in over 46,000 villages in 200 districts across 10 States and 2 Union territories on 27th December at around 12:30 PM through video conferencing.

SVAMITVA scheme was launched by Prime Minister with a vision to enhance the economic progress of rural India by providing ‘Record of Rights’ to households possessing houses in inhabited areas in villages through the latest surveying drone technology.

The scheme also helps facilitate monetization of properties and enabling institutional credit through bank loans; reducing property-related disputes; facilitating better assessment of properties and property tax in rural areas and enabling comprehensive village-level planning.

Drone survey has been completed in over 3.1 lakh villages, which covers 92% of the targeted villages. So far, around 2.2 crore property cards have been prepared for nearly 1.5 lakh villages.

The scheme has reached full saturation in Tripura, Goa, Uttarakhand and Haryana. Drone survey has been completed in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh and also in several Union Territories.
