I called Mamata Didi twice to enquire about the situation in West Bengal but both the times my call was refused by the egoistic administration of Didi: PM Modi in West Bengal
Didi’s arrogant behavior and corrupt governance are going to bring the end of TMC’s regime in West Bengal very soon: Prime Minister Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed two major rallies in Tamluk and Jhargram in West Bengal today. Addressing the large crowd of supporters, PM Modi said, “The entire country stands together with the people of West Bengal during these trying times of ‘Cyclone Fani’ which has ravaged huge parts of the country. I assure the people of full support from the government at all levels.”

Attacking the state TMC government and CM Mamata Bannerjee for allowing politics to be priority over welfare of people suffering due to the Cyclone, Prime Minister Modi said, “I called Mamata Didi twice to enquire about the situation in West Bengal but both the times my call was refused by the egoistic administration of Didi. I even wanted to come and take stock of the situation myself, which was also refused. This shows very clearly that Didi is the least concerned about her people and their welfare, for her, politics and ego are the first priority always.”

Talking on the issue of national security and India’s ramping up of counter-terrorism efforts, PM Modi said, “Pakistan-based Masood Azhar was recently declared a global terrorist by the UN, in a huge diplomatic victory for India. India’s recent strong counter-terrorism actions have won us support from the entire world but here in our own country, Didi has so far not commented on India’s UN feat. Is this due to her fear of votebank or does she not feel proud when India gets international recognition? Her arrogant behavior and corrupt governance are going to bring the end of TMC’s regime in West Bengal very soon.”

Concluding his power-packed speeches covering a wide range of issues, PM Modi asserted that the TMC government is rapidly losing its ground support from the people of West Bengal owing to their repressive actions against any political opposition to its ideology as well as by indulging in record levels of corruption, scams and hooliganism. He added, “The TMC and its ‘Mahamilawati’ allies do not even respect India’s martyrs. How do we expect them to give a stable, secure government to India in the years to come? Abusing Modi or encouraging political killings against BJP workers in Bengal is not going to benefit the tattered regime of TMC and its allies.”

PM Modi visits the Indian Arrival Monument
November 21, 2024

Prime Minister visited the Indian Arrival monument at Monument Gardens in Georgetown today. He was accompanied by PM of Guyana Brig (Retd) Mark Phillips. An ensemble of Tassa Drums welcomed Prime Minister as he paid floral tribute at the Arrival Monument. Paying homage at the monument, Prime Minister recalled the struggle and sacrifices of Indian diaspora and their pivotal contribution to preserving and promoting Indian culture and tradition in Guyana. He planted a Bel Patra sapling at the monument.

The monument is a replica of the first ship which arrived in Guyana in 1838 bringing indentured migrants from India. It was gifted by India to the people of Guyana in 1991.
