ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଆଜି ନୂଆଦିଲ୍ଲୀଠାରେ ଫିଫା ଅଣ୍ଡର-17 ବିଶ୍ଵ କପ ଭାରତୀୟ ଦଳକୁ ଭେଟିଛନ୍ତି । ସମ୍ପ୍ରତି ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ଫିଫା ବିଶ୍ଵ କପରେ ଏହି ଭାରତୀୟ ଦଳର ସଦସ୍ୟମାନେ ଭାଗନେଇଥିଲେ ।
ମତ ବିନିମୟ କାଳରେ ଖେଳାଳୀମାନେ ଫିଫା ବିଶ୍ଵ କପରୁ ହାସଲ କରିଥିବା ଅନୁଭୂତି ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଇଥିଲେ ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ପରାଜୟ ଘଟିଥିଲେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଭାରତୀୟ ଦଳ ଏଥିରେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରକାର ଦୁଃଖ କରିବା ଉଚିତ ନୁହଁ । ଏଭଳି ଟୁର୍ଣ୍ଣାମେଣ୍ଟକୁ ଏକ ଶିକ୍ଷଣ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଓ ସୁଯୋଗ ରୂପେ ଅନୁଭବ କରିବାକୁ ହେବ । ସଫଳତାର ପ୍ରଥମ ସୋପାନ ହେଉଛି ଉତ୍ସାହ ଓ ଉଦ୍ଦୀପନା ନେଇ ପ୍ରତିଯୋଗିତାରେ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିବା । ଏହାଦ୍ୱାରା ଖେଳ ଓ ଖେଳାଳୀଙ୍କ ମର୍ଯ୍ୟାଦା ବୃଦ୍ଦି ପାଇଥାଏ ବୋଲି ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ।
ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ, ଭାରତ ଫୁଟବଲ ଖେଳରେ ଅନେକ କିଛି ଶିଖିବାର ଅଛି । କ୍ରୀଡା ଯୁବକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିତ୍ଵର ବିକାଶ ଘଟାଇବା ସହ ଆତ୍ମବିଶ୍ଵାସ ବଢାଇଥାଏ ଏବଂ ଖେଳାଳୀଙ୍କ ସାମଗ୍ରିକ ବିକାଶରେ ସହାୟ ହୋଇଥାଏ ।
