The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has condoled the loss of life in the floods in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Prime Minister has sanctioned Rs. 2 lakhs for the next of kin of each of the deceased, and Rs. 50,000 for each of the seriously injured, from the Prime Minister`s National Relief Fund.

In a post on X, he said:
