Prime Minister Narendra Modi resigned from the Lok Sabha seat of Vadodara and retained the Varanasi Parliamentary constituency. Shri Modi, who was elected from both, Varanasi and Vadodara parliamentary constituencies, in Lok Sabha Elections 2014, sent his resignation as an MP from Vadodara to the Speaker of Lok Sabha today.
The Prime Minister thanked the people for their affection which got him victory by a historic margin. He also assured the people of Vadodara that he will leave no stone unturned in ensuring Vadodara’s meteoric growth and development.
Shri Modi further stated that, in his representation from the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat, he looked forward to the opportunity of serving the Ganges and working for Varanasi’s development.
