Japan MPs delegation meets Gujarat Chief Minister

Gandhinagar, Friday: A high-level Japanese delegation during its courtesy call on Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today assured of greater share in Gujarat’s development contributing to India’s progress.

The delegation led by Japan Government’s economic and trade affairs parliamentarian Yashutoshi Nishiyura praised Gujarat Government’s to explore newer areas of cooperation between the two.

Japan has been a partner country to biennial Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit (VGGIS) twice, resulting in substantial increase in mutual economic and cultural relations.

The Chief Minister invited them to join hotel and hospitality management, in addition to vast scope in energy, petroleum, mining and natural resources, tourism, education, human resource development and automobile industry.

Those present on the occasion included Chief Minister’s Secretary and GIDB Managing Director A.K. Sharma and Industries Commissioner B.B. Swain.
