Swachhata has to become our Svabhaav: PM Modi

Addressing the Swachh Shakti 2017, PM Modi said that Swachh Bharat mission has virtually turned into a mass movement and over 100 districts all over the country have become open defecation free. The PM asserted that Swachhata, or cleanliness, has to become our habit. He said women sarpanchs should take up the initiative to prevent female foeticide. ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ଗୁଜରାଟର ଗାନ୍ଧୀନଗରଠାରେ ମହିଳା ସରପଞ୍ଚମାନଙ୍କୁ ନେଇ ଆୟୋଜିତ ସମ୍ମେଳନ – ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଶକ୍ତି 2017 କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଉଦ୍ବୋଧନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ । ଏହି ଅବସରରେ ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛ ଭାରତ ଅଭିଯାନରେ ମହିଳା ସରପଞ୍ଚମାନଙ୍କ ବଳିଷ୍ଠ ଯୋଗଦାନ ପ୍ରତି ସମ୍ମାନ ଜଣାଇବା ଲାଗି ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମର ଆୟୋଜନ କରାଯାଉଛି । ସେ କହିଥିଲେ ଯେ 2019ରେ ମହାତ୍ମା ଗାନ୍ଧୀଙ୍କ 150ତମ ଜନ୍ମବାର୍ଷିକୀ ପାଳନ କରାଯିବ । ଗାନ୍ଧିଜୀ କହିଥିଲେ, ରାଜନୈତିକ ସ୍ୱାଧୀନତା ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସ୍ୱଚ୍ଛତା ଅଧିକ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ।
