PM Modi addressed a gathering of the Indian community and friends of India in Mauritius. In a special gesture, he handed over OCI cards to PM Ramgoolam and Mrs Veena Ramgoolam. The PM conveyed his greetings to the Mauritian people on the occasion of their National Day. The PM called Mauritius a 'Mini India' and said, Mauritius is not just a partner country. For us, Mauritius is family. He appreciated Mauritius’ partnership in the International Solar Alliance and the Global Biofuels Alliance.

ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶ୍ରୀ ନରେନ୍ଦ୍ର ମୋଦୀ ମରିସସର ପ୍ରଧାନମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମହାମହିମ ନବୀନଚନ୍ଦ୍ର ରାମଗୁଲାମଙ୍କ ସହ ମରିସସରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟ ଏବଂ ଭାରତର ବନ୍ଧୁମାନଙ୍କର ଏକ ସମାବେଶକୁ ଆଜି ତ୍ରିୟାନନ କନଭେନସନ ସେଣ୍ଟରରେ ଆୟୋଜିତ ଏକ ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ସମ୍ବୋଧିତ କରିଥିଲେ । ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମରେ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ, ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ, ସାମାଜିକ-ସାଂସ୍କୃତିକ ସଂଗଠନ ଏବଂ ବ୍ୟବସାୟୀ ନେତାଙ୍କ ସମେତ ପ୍ରବାସୀ ଭାରତୀୟମାନେ ଉତ୍ସାହର ସହିତ ଅଂଶଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ। ଏଥିରେ ମରିସସର ଅନେକ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ସାଂସଦ ଏବଂ ଅନ୍ୟ ମାନ୍ୟଗଣ୍ୟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତି ମାନେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇଥିଲେ ।
