Afghanistan President, Ashraf Ghani met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in New Delhi. The leaders held wide-ranging talks on furthering the strong bonds between India and Afghanistan. PM Modi reiterated India's support for unified, sovereign, democratic, peaceful, stable and prosperous Afghanistan. The leaders reaffirmed their resolve to counter terrorism and strengthen security and defence cooperation envisaged in India-Afghanistan Strategic Partnership Agreement.
