There is some very serious machination behind running the case of Rana, one of the suspects of 26/11 terrorist attack on Mumbai, in the court of Chicago and his acquittal, said Chief Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the Prime Minister is answerable to the people of India and he must immediately give his reaction regarding this proceeding. Now is the time that the Central government and the Prime Minister oppose the pro-Pakistan approach of America. Otherwise, all those who are involved in the terrorist activities will start devising tricks to get their cases run in the courts of America and then will come out as innocents, he said.
How can courts in America give judgment for the terrorist incident that has happened in India? Whether they will allow running the cases of 9/11 accused in India? Is it so that the Government of India wants to keep the victims of this terror attack devoid of justice, he questioned.
Even though the Pakistan's involvement in 26/11 attack has already been clearly established, America is backing it up. This indicates a nexus between America and Pakistan, which is working against the good of India, he said.
This has raised question against the judicial system of all the governments of the world and particularly it will pose a threat against the international relationships. And so it is needed that the Prime Minister takes a clear stand in this issue and gives immediate reaction, he said.
