Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in Dhanbad, Jharkhand on Tuesday 9th December 2014. He explained to the people of Dhanbad the importance of the coming five years for the development of Jharkhand and added that in such a crucial time it is important that Jharkhand gets a strong and stable BJP government that will work for the development of the State. He said, “You have given the Nation a strong Government with a full majority. You have to do the same for Jharkhand as well.”
Shri Modi talked about the initiatives of the Central government such as the Jan Dhan Yojana and the Make in India concept that would give a boost to employment and manufacturing across India. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Central government towards financial inclusion of the poorest of the poor.
Taking on the opposition for their bankrupt ideas the Prime Minister affirmed, “To keep themselves relevant they go to Jharkhand and J&K but they have nothing new to say. They say what they said during Lok Sabha elections. There is so much bankruptcy among the opposition parties. And they have ruined the Nation so much that people are not ready to forgive them.” He added, “I am sure they will not improve. These are 60 year old habits and we want to change things here.”
Several top BJP leaders were present during the rally.
