ઇઝરાયેલમાં વડાપ્રધાન મોદીનું સ્વાગત કરતા વડાપ્રધાન નેતનયાહુએ કહ્યું, “ઈઝરાયેલમાં સ્વાગત છે ... આપકા સ્વાગત હૈ મેરે દોસ્ત. અમે તમારી બહુ લાંબા સમયથી રાહ જોઈ રહ્યા હતા. અમે ભારતને પ્રેમ કરીએ છીએ.” તેમણે કહ્યું, “મને યાદ છે જ્યારે યુનાઇટેડ નેશન્સ ખાતે આપણી પહેલી મુલાકાત દરમિયાન તમે કહ્યું હતું કે જ્યારે ભારત અને ઈઝરાયેલના સંબંધોની વાત આવે છે ત્યારે આકાશ જ તેની સીમા છે. પરંતુ હવે, વડાપ્રધાનશ્રી, મને ઉમેરવા દો કે આપણે અવકાશમાં પણ એકબીજાને સહકાર આપી રહ્યા છીએ.”

Welcoming Prime Minister Modi to Israel, PM Netanyahu said, “Welcome to Israel...Aapka Swagat Hai Mere Dost. We have been waiting for you, for a long time. We love India.” He said, “I remember what you told me in our first meeting at the United Nations- when it comes to India and Israel relations, the sky is the limit. But now, Prime Minister, let me add- we are also cooperating in space.”

He also lauded the Prime Minister as a great leader of India and a great world leader. “Together, we can do even more and even better (for India-Israel ties).”
