पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी पीएसएलव्ही-सी 51/अ‍ॅमेझोनिया-1 मिशनच्या पहिल्या व्यावसायिक प्रक्षेपणाच्या यशाबद्दल एनएसआयएल आणि इस्रोचे अभिनंदन केले आहे.

"पीएसएलव्ही-सी51/अ‍ॅमेझोनिया-1 मिशनच्या पहिल्या समर्पित व्यावसायिक प्रक्षेपणाच्या यशाबद्दल एनएसआयएल आणि इस्रो यांचे अभिनंदन. यामुळे देशातील अंतराळ सुधारणांच्या नव्या युगाची सुरुवात झाली झाले. 18 उपग्रहांमध्ये चार छोट्या उपग्रहांचा समावेश होता जे आमच्या तरूणांचा उत्साह आणि नवोन्मेशाचे प्रदर्शन घडवितात,” असे पंतप्रधानांनी ट्विटर वरील संदेशात म्हंटले आहे.

 

The Prime Minister also congratulated the President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro on the successful launch of Brazil's Amazonia-1 satellite by PSLV-C51.

In another tweet, the Prime Minister said, "Congratulations President @jairbolsonaro on the successful launch of Brazil's Amazonia-1 satellite by PSLV-C51. This is a historic moment in our space cooperation and my felicitations to the scientists of Brazil."

First such instance that a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the Christmas Celebrations hosted by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) at the CBCI Centre premises, New Delhi at 6:30 PM on 23rd December.

Prime Minister will interact with key leaders from the Christian community, including Cardinals, Bishops and prominent lay leaders of the Church.

This is the first time a Prime Minister will attend such a programme at the Headquarters of the Catholic Church in India.

Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI) was established in 1944 and is the body which works closest with all the Catholics across India.
