पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी हिज रॉयल हायनेस प्रिन्स फिलीप, ड्युक ऑफ एडिनबर्ग यांच्या निधनाबद्दल ब्रिटीश जनता व राजघराण्याच्या दुःखात सहभागी असल्याचे कळवले आहे.
“हिज रॉयल हायनेस प्रिन्स फिलीप, ड्युक ऑफ एडिनबर्ग यांच्या निधनाबद्दल ब्रिटीश जनता व राजघराण्याला झालेल्या दुःखात मी सहभागी आहे. लष्करात त्यांनी उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी केली तसेच ते अनेक समाजसेवा कार्यात आघाडीवर होते. त्यांच्या आत्म्याला शांती लाभो.” असे पंतप्रधानांनी त्यांच्या ट्विटर संदेशात म्हटले आहे.
