A large audience gathered for public meetings addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dhule and Nashik, Maharashtra. Reflecting on his strong bond with the state, PM Modi said, “Whenever I’ve sought support from Maharashtra, the people have blessed me wholeheartedly.” He further emphasized, “If Maharashtra moves forward, India will prosper.” Over the past two and a half years, the Mahayuti government has demonstrated the rapid progress the state can achieve.
At the rally in Dhule, PM Modi deeply reflected, “Politics should serve the people, but some enter it only to exploit. The Maha-Aghadi’s rule halted development, filled every project with corruption, and blocked crucial initiatives like metro projects, Vadhavan Port, and the Samruddhi Mahamarg.”
PM Modi assured, “With your blessings, the BJP-Mahayuti government has restored progress under Shinde Ji’s leadership. Maharashtra has regained its pride and faith in growth. Where there is BJP-Mahayuti, there is momentum, there is Maharashtra's progress!”
The PM also addressed a significant issue, “For a Viksit Maharashtra and a stronger India, empowering women is essential. When women progress, society advances. Over the past decade, our government has prioritized women in all major decisions.”
He criticized the previous governments for restricting women's opportunities, even in military schools. “We broke those barriers, opening more fields for women. The Nari Shakti Vandan Act ensures women’s reservation in assemblies and Parliament. Today, key initiatives like toilets and gas cylinders center around our mothers and sisters, despite being mocked by Congress initially,” the PM stated.
PM Modi highlighted Maharashtra's Mahayuti government’s efforts, noting new programs for women, such as requiring the mother’s name on all documents and recruiting 25,000 women in the police force to enhance safety and employment for daughters in Maharashtra.
He added, “Our government’s steps for women’s empowerment have enraged Congress and its allies. The Mahayuti government’s ‘Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana’ has gained widespread appreciation, yet Congress is conspiring to shut it down. They even took the scheme to court and vowed to end it if they return to power.”
PM Modi urged every woman in Maharashtra to remain vigilant, as these parties cannot stand to see women empowered. He condemned Congress and its allies for using offensive language and derogatory comments toward women, which he called an insult that no mother or sister in Maharashtra will forgive.
The PM also expressed his pride in the government’s decision to grant Marathi the status of a classical language, saying, “I’ve received heartfelt messages from Marathi speakers worldwide. This has been their dream for decades.” He remarked, “Despite ruling in both Maharashtra and the center, Congress never honored this aspiration of the Marathi people. Today, Congress and the Aghadi are troubled that this recognition came from our government, revealing their true face.”
Addressing Maharashtra's farmers, PM Modi noted, “Maharashtra’s farmers are gaining double benefits under the double-engine government. Initiatives like crop insurance, solar pumps and record-high MSP are filling the gaps left by Congress. This commitment from BJP and Mahayuti ensures our farmers’ prosperity and the nation’s growth.”
He acknowledged the tribal community's importance in the state's progress, stating, “The BJP has always worked with the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’ We’ve launched programs for the tribal community, such as Janjatiye Gaurav Diwas and Eklavya Schools, and secured their rights to land, water, and forest produce.”
PM Modi also pointed out, “For the first time, a tribal woman, Draupadi Murmu, became the President, despite Congress’s efforts to discredit her.”
He warned about Congress’s dangerous conspiracy to divide Dalits, Backwards, and Tribals, saying, “Congress has always opposed the progress of these communities, trying to weaken their unity.” The PM recalled, “During Independence, Dr. Ambedkar fought for reservations for the oppressed, but Nehruji resisted. It took a long struggle to get reservations. Even after Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi continued opposing it. Their goal was to keep SC, ST, and OBC communities weak.”
PM Modi also criticized Congress for attempting to divide various tribal communities like Bhils, Koknas, Warlis, and others to weaken their unity, saying, “Their divisive agenda aims to destroy the collective strength of tribal communities.” To counter Congress’ plan, PM Modi reiterated that, “Ek Hain toh Safe Hain!”
Recalling Gandhi Ji’s vision, the PM said, “After Independence, Gandhi Ji wanted Congress to dissolve, as he foresaw its divisive nature. Congress has always been part of anti-national conspiracies. A prime example is Jammu & Kashmir, where Congress separated it from the nation with Article 370, denied Dalits and marginalized communities their rights, and supported terrorism and separatism. We ended this with the revocation of Article 370, one of India's greatest decisions. But now, Congress and its allies are conspiring to bring it back.”
He reaffirmed, “Article 370 will never return. Baba Saheb’s Constitution will prevail in Kashmir, and no force can change that.”
PM Modi remarked, “Maharashtra is progressing rapidly on the path of economic growth. The Mahayuti government is committed to the development of every section, with a focus on women, youth, and tribals. Your support is vital for continued progress.”
PM Modi, while addressing the second rally of the day in Nashik, Maharashtra, shared his vision for a progressive Maharashtra. He initiated by saying that, "Maharashtra is now a leader in building highways, expressways, and investing in technology, setting the foundation for future growth."
PM Modi pointed out that Congress opposed vital projects like the Atal Setu, attempted to halt the Vadhavan Port, and even tried to delay metro projects. During the last five years, the first two and a half years were consumed by the corruption and procrastination of the Maha Aghadi government, he added.
PM Modi assured the people that as Maharashtra is prioritized by the Mahayuti government, Nashik, too, has been prioritized in their development plans. "Modern infrastructure projects are transforming the city, with new highways and transport facilities, which will benefit major events like the Kumbh Mela in 2026," he said. Additionally, the creation of an IT park in Nashik will open up significant employment opportunities for the youth, he added. He urged people to keep the Aghadi alliance away from power for Maharashtra's future development.
PM Modi highlighted that today, Nashik is also emerging as a major centre for India’s defence and self-reliance. He slammed Congress and its allies and said that they have historically tried to hinder defence manufacturing in India by creating controversies around HAL, organizing protests, and inciting employee. "But despite their efforts, HAL has become a major success, now one of India’s top profit-making companies and a pillar of India’s defence strength."
"When elections approach, political parties present their achievements to the public. The BJP and Mahayuti have been transparent in highlighting their progress. But Congress relies on one strategy to challenge the BJP—spreading lies,” he reprimanded.
He further attacked the opposition, saying that the same tactics were used by Congress in states like Karnataka, Telangana, and Himachal Pradesh, where they made empty promises during elections and then failed to fulfill them. "States under Congress' rule are now in financial chaos, with no money to run the government and taxes being raised to fill their own pockets," he added.
PM Modi applauded the people of Maharashtra, saying that they are recognizing the difference between the Mahayuti manifesto and the deceptive promises of the Maha Aghadi. He said, "Wherever Congress and its allies are in power, corruption follows. They announce schemes designed for maximum corruption." He emphasized, "The whole country has rejected Congress for its antics. Congress is no longer a nationwide force; it has become a 'parasitic Congress,' surviving only through alliances with other parties. Be it Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, or Jharkhand."
PM Modi condemned the divisive politics done by Congress. He said that a key weapon Congress uses to maintain power is division. "They have historically tried to divide communities, especially the OBCs, to weaken them politically," he said. "During Congress' rule, OBCs were divided into various castes. They only received reservations when Congress lost power." He explained that Congress’ goal is to prevent the unity of OBCs, which would diminish their strength and make it easier for Congress to regain control. "Congress thrives on division, but the people of Maharashtra must stand united to prevent this," he added.
He further emphasized that OBC unity is essential, repeated that “Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain!” because if Congress succeeds in dividing the OBCs, their collective power will be weakened. "Congress despises OBCs, and this is evident in their reluctance to accept the fact that an OBC community member is the current Prime Minister of India," PM Modi said. "This election, therefore, is not just about the future of Maharashtra, but also about its honour and self-respect."
PM Modi assured the people of Nashik that only the Mahayuti government stands for the preservation of Marathi culture and history, the recognition of the Marathi language as a classical language, and the respect of icons like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Speaking about Veer Savarkar contributions, PM Modi said, “I challenge Congress and their Maha-Aghadi allies... Let these parties get Congress leaders to praise the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of Veer Savarkar. Veer Savarkar endured the harsh punishment of ‘kala paani,’ spending years in jail. Yet, Congress dismisses all of it. Let the Maha-Aghadi parties get Congress to acknowledge those days of struggle and honour Veer Savarkar for his sacrifices. In the fight for freedom, Veer Savarkar inspired countless revolutionaries. Let the Maha-Aghadi allies ask Congress to honour such an inspirational hero.
Reminiscing Bala Saheb Thackeray’s contribution to the country and Maharashtra as unparalleled, PM Modi said that the Congress leaders do not say even a word of respect for him. “I challenge Congress’ friends in the Maha-Aghadi to make Congress leaders recognise and appreciate Bala Saheb Thackeray and his ideology.”
PM Modi concluded by saying that Maharashtra’s future is at a critical juncture. "The people must choose progress and unity over division, development over corruption, and pride in their heritage over the insult of their icons. The choice is clear—stand with the Mahayuti for a stronger, united Maharashtra,” he established.
