PM Modi addressed a massive rally amidst the popular support of the people in Sikar, Rajasthan. He recalled the important spiritual personalities of Rajasthan and acknowledged the presence of the people of Sikar. PM Modi said, “The excitement of the people showcases the fact that the mandate is with the BJP”. He added, “The people have decided that our Party’s Lotus symbol will emerge victorious and that the Lotus will bloom again.”

“The BJP has always been steadfast to serve the people of Rajasthan”, said PM Modi. Today, the farmers of Rajasthan received the 14th installment of income support in the form of PM-KISAN. A number of medical colleges were inaugurated in the state of Rajasthan that will enable the creation of critical health infrastructure in the state. Various Ekalavya Tribal Residential Schools were inaugurated for the tribal populace of Rajasthan.

PM Modi said, “Over the 9 years the BJP Government at the Center has enabled the creation of infrastructure in the state in terms of its roadways and highways.” He added, “We have enabled an efficient devolution of funds to the state enabling its development. “But, the Congress Government has only tried to stall the development of the state of Rajasthan”, said PM Modi. He emphasized, “The same can be seen in the Jal Jeevan Mission, where various states have been provided with piped drinking water, but the state of Rajasthan still significantly lags behind”.

In the name of promoting the development of the state, “The Congress Government has only established a ‘Loot ki dukaan and Jhoot ka bazaar promoting the state of loot, falsity and lies”, said PM Modi. The testimony to the same is the ‘Laal Diary’ (Red Book) that will substantiate this Government’s attempt at loot, falsity and lies”, added PM Modi. “The silence of the Congress Party, cannot silence the ‘Red Book’ which will expose their façade”, said PM Modi.

Commenting on the Congress Government, PM Modi said, “The Congress Government has only indulged in the politics of blame-game and intra-party politics that have taken the state of Rajasthan towards ruin”. “On the other hand, the BJP Government at the Center has remained devoted towards serving the people of India enabling the promotion of basic necessities among the people”, added PM Modi.

“The Congress Government’s endeavor in the state has led to complete lawlessness”, said PM Modi. He said “Due to this, people and especially the youth of the state have suffered. On the Congress Party, PM Modi said, “Today, the Congress party has been rendered direction-less, its constant mechanisms at changing names showcases how the Congress Party’s UPA is simply interested in tricking the people to forget the various scams and atrocities committed by it”, said PM Modi. “Using the acronym ‘INDIA’ the Congress Party yet again with its allies intends to loot the country” said, PM Modi. “It was during the same Congress regime that organizations like the SIMI and the PFI with anti-India agenda have flourished”, said PM Modi.

“Congress has always served as an anti-India propaganda machine, allowing the meddling of foreign interests in sabotaging the real interests of India”, said PM Modi. “It is the same party, that has questioned the surgical and the air-strike, the same party that shamed the soldiers of Galwan”, said PM Modi. “For the Congress Party, divisive and appeasement politics take precedence over the national interests of India”, retorted PM Modi.

“The arrogance of the Congress Party will lead to its defeat and the way Gandhiji had remarked ‘Quit India’ that caused the British to leave India, in the same way the people today are remarking, ‘Quit Corruption, Appeasement and Dynastic Politics’ that will once again ensure the defeat of the Congress and its allies”, said PM Modi.

In conclusion, PM Modi said that the BJP Government has a roadmap in mind to make India the third largest economy in the world in the next five years and to also develop the state of Rajasthan, according the due recognition to the aspirations and hope of the people of Rajasthan.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi earlier today chaired the meeting of the 45th edition of PRAGATI, the ICT-based multi-modal platform for Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation, involving Centre and State governments.

In the meeting, eight significant projects were reviewed, which included six Metro Projects of Urban Transport and one project each relating to Road connectivity and Thermal power. The combined cost of these projects, spread across different States/UTs, is more than Rs. 1 lakh crore.

Prime Minister stressed that all government officials, both at the Central and State levels, must recognize that project delays not only escalate costs but also hinder the public from receiving the intended benefits.

During the interaction, Prime Minister also reviewed Public Grievances related to the Banking & Insurance Sector. While Prime Minister noted the reduction in the time taken for disposal, he also emphasized on the quality of disposal of the grievances.

Considering more and more cities are coming up with Metro Projects as one of the preferred public transport systems, Prime Minister advised conducting workshops for experience sharing for cities where projects are under implementation or in the pipeline, to capture the best practices and learnings from experiences.

During the review, Prime Minister stressed on the importance of timely Rehabilitation and Resettlement of Project Affected Families during implementation of projects. He further asked to ensure ease of living for such families by providing quality amenities at the new place.

PM also reviewed PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. He directed to enhance the capacity of installations of Rooftops in the States/UTs by developing a quality vendor ecosystem. He further directed to reduce the time required in the process, starting from demand generation to operationalization of rooftop solar. He further directed states to adopt a saturation approach for villages, towns and cities in a phased manner.

Up to the 45th edition of PRAGATI meetings, 363 projects having a total cost of around Rs. 19.12 lakh crore have been reviewed.
