People of UP have decided to defeat 'Parivarvadi' parties: PM Modi in Bahraich
We opened up 'Anna ke Bhandaar' during the COVID crisis, 80 crore people have been getting free ration for the last 2 years: PM Modi
This time we are going to hit a 'Jeet Ka Chowka'...First in 2014, then 2017, 2019, and now 2022: PM Modi in Bahraich

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed an election rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich. Elated to see a huge crowd in a public meeting, PM Modi said, “You have come in such a large number to bless the BJP, this time we are going to hit a 'Jeet Ka Chowka'... First in 2014, then 2017, 2019, and now 2022. People of UP have decided to reject 'Parivarvadis'.”

Attacking the Samajwadi Party ahead of fourth phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, PM Modi remarked, “I have closely watched the working of these ‘Parivarvadis’ from 2014 to 2017. Before 2017, the people of Basti, Gonda, Bahraich, Balrampur, also faced a lot of discrimination. Now Yogi ji's government is making every effort for the last five years which can bring comfort in their life, which can give respect to the poor. In the last five years, the BJP government has brought the law and order here on track.”

“Due to the efforts of the BJP government, now the atmosphere of fear in Uttar Pradesh is going away. The BJP government is improving the condition of schools. Our government is opening medical colleges in every district, building new engineering institutes, increasing seats in ITI-polytechnics. To set up your own business, the BJP government is helping you through Mudra Yojana, giving you money through start up scheme. Also, we are providing free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, and are building up health and wellness centres in rural areas as well,” said PM Modi while highlighting the benefits of the central schemes.

“Our government doesn't leave anyone in a time of crisis. We opened up 'Anna ke Bhandaar' during the COVID crisis, 80 crore people have been getting free ration for the last 2 years... Tough time calls for a tough leader,” said PM Narendra Modi in Bahraich.

Launching a staunch attack at the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav over his 'BJP ka tika' remark, PM Modi said that 'Parivarvadis' call COVID-19 vaccines as 'BJP ka Vaccine'. These people tried a lot to mislead the people of the state, but they did not succeed. Moreover, these people also worked to defame UP by showing pictures.”

During the rally, PM Modi recalled a time when a former Prime Minister, at a public meeting, had said that when government released a rupee for welfare of poor, only 15 paisa used to reach the beneficiary. “Who siphoned the rest of money? Where did it go?” questioned PM Modi.

Adding further, PM Modi said, “When we linked mobile phone and Aadhaar with Jan Dhan account, the security cycle got stronger. Now it has become possible for our small farmers, livestock farmers and fishermen to get easy loans from banks due to Jan Dhan accounts. Now, through the PM SVANIDHI scheme, loans are also being given to street vendors without guarantee from banks.”

PM Modi asked the people of the state that have they forgiven those leaders who played with the future of youth? He said, “The youth of UP has benefited a lot after his government has ended the interview in Group C and Group D recruitments.” He further slammed the opposition and said, “These are the people who got dozens of sugar mills closed in Uttar Pradesh. These are the people who raised batons on farmers for urea and fertilizers. These are the people who used to make the farmer crave even for sugarcane slips.”

Hitting out at the opposition, PM Modi said, “The Samajwadi government was against even banning the terrorist organizations. That's why I say... Those who cannot think of the country, keep the security of the country at bay, they can never do any good to UP.”

Prime Minister Modi urged people to vote in record numbers in the Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh.

India mourns the loss of one of its most distinguished leaders, Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji. Rising from humble origins, he rose to become a respected economist. He served in various government positions as well, including as Finance Minister, leaving a strong imprint on our economic policy over the years. His interventions in Parliament were also insightful. As our Prime Minister, he made extensive efforts to improve people’s lives.

“Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji and I interacted regularly when he was PM and I was the CM of Gujarat. We would have extensive deliberations on various subjects relating to governance. His wisdom and humility were always visible.

In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the family of Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, his friends and countless admirers. Om Shanti."
