Prime Minister Modi today visited Kerala to take a stock of the situation arising after major fire at Paravur Puttingal Temple. He held extensive talks with Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and other officials. The PM assured full assistance from the Centre for relief work. 

The PM said that the incident was unfortunate and heart rending. He extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
